In a deeply heartbreaking and shocking development, television actress Sanchita Ugale has passed away. The actress was widely known for her roles in popular daily soaps like Kumkum Bhagya and Wagle Ki Duniya. She was found at her residence in Mumbai, in the Nallasopara area, around 7 pm on Sunday, June 14, 2026.

The sudden demise of Sanchita Ugale due to suicide has sent shockwaves through the entertainment fraternity, leaving her fans and close ones in utter disbelief.
According to reports, the unfortunate incident took place around 7 pm on Sunday, June 14, 2026. Sanchita was reportedly at her home in Nalasopara, where she resided with her parents and sister. At the time of the incident, she was alone in her bedroom, which was locked from the inside.
Upon discovering her, family members immediately rushed her to the nearby hospital. However, doctors declared her unresponsive upon arrival.
The update came hours after Sanchita uploaded a reel where she appeared happy and chirpy, dancing and lip-syncing to a Bollywood track. Splitsvilla 16 fame and her former series co-star Sorab Bedi took to his Instagram Stories to express his disbelief.
In his note, he wrote, “No chotuuu. You were, you are, and you’ll always gonna be my fav gonna miss you.”
Sanchita Ugale shot to fame by playing the role of Diya Tandon in Kumkum Bhagya. She also portrayed Ruchita Jaitley in Wagle Ki Duniya-Nayi Peedhi Naye Kisse. Beyond television, Sanchita featured as the younger version of Maharani Tarabai in Vicky Kaushal-starrer Chhaava.
