Akanksha Chamola schools Ram Kapoor for defending cheating
Ram Kapoor’s perspective on infidelity in marriage was met with a fierce take by his Lock Upp: Sach Ya Sazaa co-contestant Akanksha Chamola. The discussion kicked off when fellow inmate Shreya Kalra asked Ram Kapoor if he would look for another relationship if he ever discovered his partner had stepped outside the marriage.
Ram argued that long marriages span over 20 to 25 years and go through several highs and lows. Speaking his mind, he stated, “If you really love your partner, nothing is a deal breaker.”
The Jolly LLB 3 actor further opined, “Marriage is hard, and it's a journey. You have to work at your marriage every day. In a bad phase, if by mistake something happens, and you can't live without your partner or your children, then time heals everything, and nothing is a deal breaker. Sometimes it happens by mistake.”
Akanksha Chamola, who recently made headlines for revealing her own impending divorce on the show’s premiere, was seen listening quietly before firmly sharing her opinions. She schooled the veteran actor, highlighting that physical intimacy involves a series of conscious choices.
“But sir, this doesn't happen by mistake,” Akanksha exclaimed. “It's not a mistake. You are physically intimate with someone. That's a process. You have to take somebody's clothes off, take your clothes off, and then do it. You cannot say it's a mistake. It's not like I stabbed you by mistake,” she opined.
Ever since Ram entered the show, he has been getting into heated arguments with his co-contestants. Fans outside also lashed at him for being rude to host Riteish Deshmukh. Meanwhile, Akanksha is gradually getting over the devastating secret she revealed on the show about her divorce from Gaurav Khanna.
