In the latest episode of the reality show, contestant Shreya Kalra launched a personal attack against co-contestant and television superstar Harshad Chopda, calling him ‘arrogant’. She also claimed that his attitude is the reason behind his lack of professional work and single status. Read on!
Shreya Kalra claims Harshad Chopda is arrogant
The friction between Harshad Chopda and Shreya Kalra escalated during the fifth episode following a high-voltage task where Shreya failed to secure safety, landing her in the ‘at risk’ zone.
Following heated arguments with fellow inmates Pamela Sarena and Sufi Motiwala, an emotional Shreya was seen venting to Madhuri Grover after the house lights went off.
Targeting the other contestants, Shreya claimed she isn't on the show to revive a failing career. She then directed her views straight at the Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai star and said, “Harshad ko koi kaam nahi de raha hain baahar. Arrogant hain woh baahar (Harshad is not getting any work outside; he is so arrogant). That's why he is not married. Because no woman would marry a guy like him.”
Shreya’s outburst came shortly after Harshad told the group that no one else in the house targets others quite to the level that Shreya does.
In an earlier episode, Harshad opened up to the housemates about his hesitation to settle down, citing past relationship experience and a feeling of ‘emotional deafness’.
“I date, but then I get f**d. Bolna kuch hota hai, actions kuch aur hote hain (You say something but your actions are different). I have felt deafness, emotional deafness. I am saying, saying, saying and the person is not listening and understanding,” Harshad had shared.
During the grand premiere, Harshad also shocked fans by revealing a deep personal secret to hosts Farah Khan and Riteish Deshmukh. He explained that he became socially unavailable after his girlfriend cheated on him with his best friend back in 2010.
