It features none other than the powerhouse filmmaker-choreographer Farah Khan and the actor-director Riteish Deshmukh. Backed by Ektaa Kapoor's Balaji Telefilms, Lock Upp: Sach Ya Saza is making its way to Netflix from June 27, 2026 (Saturday to Wednesday) at 8 PM. Ahead of its release, the team dropped its captivating promo video.
In the clip, Farah Khan and Riteish Deshmukh were seen making their way inside the jail. As someone called out ‘Inmate no. 27 and 06’, Farah and Riteish were shown inside the bars. While some might assume they’re the new inmates, their evil smiles tell a different story.
Sharing the clip, the team wrote, “Do khaas mehmaan. Ek Lock Upp.”

While the teaser kicks off on an intense note with the two exchanging serious glances, it quickly shifts gears. True to their real-life vibe, the promo ends with the duo exchanging playful smirks, followed by ‘To Be Continued’ flashing across the screen.
The makers are keeping the show’s format and the contestants' list strictly under wraps. Given Riteish's previous successful stint hosting Bigg Boss Marathi and Farah’s reputation as a reality show judge, their coming together is bound to bring absolute entertainment.
Farah and Riteish share a deep, long-standing association in the film industry. Riteish has been a frequent collaborator and close friend of Farah’s brother, Sajid Khan, starring in massive comedy blockbusters like Heyy Babyy, Housefull, Housefull 2, and Humshakals. Seeing them share the screen in such a gritty format would be a treat for Bollywood buffs.
As for Lock Upp: Sach Ya Saza, the show is expected to host some of India's most talked-about and controversial personalities locked away under one roof.
