Ever since Kamya Punjabi has announced the last film of Pratyusha Banerjee, there has been a buzz about it. Last year, the industry lost their favourite Anandi aka Pratusha Banerjee on April 1st and the daily columns were reporting every small development on her suicide case.

The teaser of Pratyusha's last film is out and it's heart-wrenching. Just now, the reports came that Pratyusha's boyfriend Rahul Raj Singh has asked the court for a stay order on the film. We called up Kamya and asked if the film will be releasing tomorrow or not. She rubbished all the rumours and EXCLUSIVELY told us, "You know what see you tomorrow. I'll show you the film.  I want everyone to know that the event is definitely on and I am going to show the film."

Yesterday, Rahul had filed an FIR stating that the film is showing him in a negative light. He wrote, "I have lost my girlfriend last year on 1st April 2016. On 27/3/2017 I was shocked to read that Kamya Punjabi has given an interview and declared that she is releasing one short film based on the life of my girlfriend Pratyusha Banerjee and she has portrayed my character in an abusive manner. Further, she has used my girlfriend Pratyusha's old video as a new one."

When we asked about these reports, Kamya took a firm stand and said, "I would want to say that Rahul has got nothing to go with the film and he is unnecessarily creating drama. He wants to seek some attention. And as promised, I am a woman of my words, I am going to show the film tomorrow."

Have to give it to Kamya for being there for her late friend and her family like a pillar of strength. That murderer is roaming free with absolutely no punishment for his deed. The justice system in India is alas tilted towards the rich and influential..Sad, very sad indeed.
