Tinaa Dattaa, who has been a popular name on Television, especially with her stint as Icchki in Uttaran, made headlines few days back with her Me too revelation against Daayan co-star Mohit Malhotra as she accused him of inappropriately touching her. Post her accusation, the makers of the show Daayan were planning to wrap up the show soon, as the actors are not cooperating enough.

When the tiff surfaced between the two, Tina in an exclusive interview with Pinkvilla said, “When we shoot a tv show there are lot of problems, big / small / ugly ... I have raised my issues (related to Mohit) with the production team and they have been very supportive. I am thrilled to work with balaji after many years. I leave the issues with them to sort .... thanks.”

On the other hand, Mohit Malhotra completely denied the allegations made against him by Tinaa and said everything is a lie.

However, now in an interview, Tinaa said that everything has been sorted out between her and Mohit now. “I and Mohit have ironed out the differences. We have concluded to make a new start. I don’t have any issues working with him. Our on-screen chemistry works for the show and shall maintain a professional environment for the betterment of the show. I am happy that our audience has liked the show and I am sure this new start will be appreciated by all and will put a rest to any further speculation”, she said.

As the actual incident remains shady to everybody else, it's yet to see what will happen with the show next, and if its makers will go on with the shooting of the show with the same lead star cast or not.

attitudes like these undermine the metoo movement. Either you are harassed or you are not. If you could iron out your differences, why come out in the open? Its become more of a blackmail than a true victim call out.
