Its pouring Naagins in the show Main Bhi Ardhangini and Aradhya Taing is the newest addition to the Naagin flick. After Heena Parmar, Aradhya is to be seen playing the character of Shalaka. The actress, along with the rest of the crew of Main Bhi Ardhangini, has been shooting in Jaipur for a while and is all geared up and excited for her television debut with the serial. In an interview with TOI, Aradhya said that the show is in demand which is why it is being made. In fact, she also mentioned that if people can binge-watch shows of vampires and zombies and hence, there is an increase in the demand for such shows, she fails to understand what is the problem with Naagins or Daayans?

Aradhya Taing further said that Naagin is a very fancy character to play. It is her debut on Indian television and doing a supernatural show is quite exciting. It’s different from the usual saas-bahu dramas that we see on TV. She stood her ground and also added that as far as criticism is concerned, it happens everywhere and to the best of the people, including Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan, who have been an inspiration for many.

Speaking of being compared with other actresses who have already aced the character of Naagin in the past, Aradhya said that if she is being compared with Mouni or Adaa, she will take it as a compliment. The Naagin series became synonymous with Mouni and Adaa because they did such a fantastic job and have set a benchmark. It makes you a little nervous to play a character that has already been played so well in the past. Aradhya concluded by saying that she knows she is here to give her best and play the character in her own style.
