Bigg Boss 14: After winning the trophy, Rubina Dilaik says ‘probably I was destined for it’
In a recent chat session with ETimes, Rubina Dilaik opened up about her current feelings after the victory, relationship with her husband Abhinav Shukla and more.
Last night, Rubina Dilaik was declared as the winner of Bigg Boss season 14. The 143 days of competition have finally come to an end. After winning the trophy, the television actress is on cloud nine. Post her ‘big’ win, in a recent chat session with ETimes, the Shakti — Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki actress has opened about her current feelings after the victory, relationship with husband Abhinav Shukla and more. Talking about the victory, Rubina said she is ecstatic as he always wanted to reach till here.
“It was a dream, but the feeling of victory is yet to sink in. Kehte hai na, sab kismat ka khel hai – probably I was destined for it,” Rubina added. She further said that it has been an incredible journey for her wherein she discovered herself and she is very proud of it. Last night, her husband and co-contestant Abhinav Shukla also attended the finale and was seen cheering for her. Talking about their happy reunion, she said that it’s Abhinav’s support that made her stronger.
Further, she elaborated that when she won the show, Abhinav congratulated her, later they hugged and kissed each other. She also said that it was beautiful to have him there with her. “Ab main bas destination wedding ke baare mein soch rahi hoon (laughs). There will be a second wedding for sure, and a journey of a lifetime, which we had promised each other on the show,” the actress stated.
Later, while talking about her and Abhinav’s relationship, she said that the kind of challenges that they faced together in the show made their relationship stronger. “In the outside world, you have choices and you can escape, but when you are locked up in a house, you have no choice. You can either fight or take a flight,” she added. Rubina said that they chose to face the challenge head-on and win it for themselves and that in turn made them, their relationship and their bond stronger.
