Bigg Boss 14 contestant and BJP leader from Haryana, Sonali Phogat faced a setback recently as her home in Hisar was robbed and cash, gold, and other valuables went missing.

Bigg Boss 14 contestant and BJP leader of Haryana Sonali Phogat’s house was robbed recently. Sonali Phogat was a contestant in the reality show Bigg Boss 14, where she was deemed as a strong contestant. She was evicted from the show due to a lack of votes. As per the information provided by Haryana Police, items stolen from the BJP leader’s home in Hisar include jewelry, a licensed revolver, Rs 10 lakh, and other valuables. The situation has immensely affected Sonali and the politician resort to police help immediately.

Sonali has filed a complaint with the Haryana Police stating that she was in Chandigarh when the robbery occurred at her residence. She added that there are CCTV cameras in her home for vigilance, but the robbers took the video recorder containing the footage with them.

The investigation process is initiated by the HTM Station House Officer (SHO) Sukhjit, and he told that according to the statement of Sonali Phogat, she left from her house on 9th Feb 2021 for Chandigarh after she had locked her house. She returned home on 15th Feb 2021 and saw the locks were broken. The specifics of the stolen items as stated by the police include gold, silverware, Rs. 10 lakh cash, a .22 bore licensed pistol, and eight cartridges. 

Sonali Phogat contested for election in the 2019 assembly poll from Adampur seat as a BJP contestant. With her entry into the Bigg Boss 14 house, people got to know her personality, and was liked by the viewers.
