With Akash Dadlani out of the game, Bigg Boss 11 is left with four contestants: Puneesh Sharma, Hina Khan, Vikas Gupta and Shilpa Shinde. All the four finalists are leaving no stone unturned in making sure that they win the trophy. During their stint on Bigg Boss 11, all the contestants have not only earned fame and popularity but also earned a ‘tag’ for themselves. From Drama Queen to Mastermind to Double Dholki, the housemates have been given hilarious titles based on their journey in the house.
Let’s have a look at the tags given to the Bigg Boss contestants:
1. Hina Khan – Drama Queen:
Hina Khan, who became a household name as Akshara in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, has managed to become one of the most controversial contestants in the Bigg Boss 11 house. The actress has been making headlines for a lot of wrong reasons but has emerged as one of the strongest contenders to clinch the trophy. Hina is also popular for her unnecessary ‘drama’ inside the house and is often seen crying in front of the cameras. During the awards segment, called the Fizzy Awards, Hina Khan had won the Drama Queen Award.
2. Vikas Gupta – Mastermind:
Vikas Gupta is one of the final contenders on the show and is often regarded as the ‘Mastermind’ of the house. He maintains calm and gets out of a bad situation quite easily, courtesy his brilliant planning and strategies. And he does it with grace, certainly more than others in the house. He has shown in the past that he can stab people in the back if need be. The way he gave up on Hina Khan during the rocket task demonstrated an evil side of him.
3. Shilpa Shinde – Maa:
Shilpa Shinde shot to fame with TV serial, Bhabhi Ji Ghar Par Hai and won millions of hearts with her entertaining role. She is currently enjoying her stint in Bigg Boss 11 and many are rooting for the actor to win the title. The 40-year-old actor got the tag of ‘maa’ from Akash Dadlani and Arshi Khan. She used to take care of them just like any mother and cook food for every housemate. The most appreciated thing about Shilpa was that she stood strong and intelligently chose when to speak and when not to.
4. Puneesh Sharma and Akash Dadlani - Paagal Premi Jodi:
Puneesh Sharma is the only commoner left for the grand finale which is set to take place on 14th January. Many are baffled by how well he has played the game throughout and many believe, he deserves his spot in the finale week. Puneesh was very close to Akash Dadlani and their bromance was one of the major highlights of the show. They were so close that on Puneesh's request, Akash chopped his hair off. Even during tasks, their bond was stronger than ever. During the awards segment, Puneesh and Akash were given the ‘Paagal Premi Jodi’ award and well, they really deserve it.
5. Luv Tyagi – Double Dholki:
Luv Tyagi, Hina Khan and Priyank Sharma had become good friends on the show. But with time, their friendship hit a rough patch. Luv had a major fight with both Hina and Priyank on the show. Even though, Hina and Priyank apologised, he was seen bitching about them with the other contestants. So, the title of ‘Double Dholki’ obviously goes to Luv Tyagi.
6. Arshi Khan - Queen of Controversy:
Arshi Khan walked into the Bigg Boss house with a proud tag of ‘Queen of Controversy’ and joined the rest of the inmates of Bigg Boss 11 as a commoner whose sole motive was to make a name for herself in the industry. Arshi’s flirtation with Hiten Tejwani was one of the major highlights of the show. She also made honest confessions about the numerous controversies surrounding her in the world outside of Bigg Boss 11 and her alleged relationship with a renowned cricketer. She is undoubtedly the ‘Queen of Controversy.’
