Ishqbaaaz actress Shrenu Parikh is gearing up for her upcoming show on Star Plus, Ek Bhram Sarvagun Sampanna. The show will see Shrenu take on the role of Janhvi Mittal, a daughter-in-law in an extremely rich family, but, she will not be playing the quintessential docile bahu in this one. The show has been grabbing quite a lot of eyeballs with the concept and how it will totally go against the societal norms and general perception of daughters-in-law on Indian television. It does manage to put a question mark on how we have been viewing daily soaps so far.

Right from the comparison of Shrenu’s character Janhvi to a black widow in the very beginning of one of the promos to how she (Janhvi) raises a rather absurd question about becoming a widow to her younger sister, there is so much to think upon. While we are extremely intrigued by the promo, we can’t wait for the show to hit the screens and see the kind of thought process that has gone into its making. With the new promo, Shrenu has also changed her name to Janhvi Mittal on social media, and looks like this is going to be grand already!

Talking about the show and her association with producer Dipti Kalwani, Shrenu said, “I'm looking forward to this association with Dipti Kalwani, the maker of Badho Bahu. Just like her previous progressive show, this one is an unusual and an unconventional family drama. I am playing a quintessential 'bahu' (daughter-in-law)."

The show goes on air on April 22. 2019, and also stars Zain Imam in the lead roles along with Shrenu. Zain was last seen in Khatron Ke Khiladi.
