Ekta Kapoor files a police complaint after her cash of Rs 60,000 goes missing

Reportedly, the incident took place on Saturday, and it came to light when Ekta lifted her bag and felt it was suddenly lighter.

TV czarina Ekta Kapoor filed a complaint at the Juhu police station when she realized that her cash of Rs 60,000 out of Rs 1.5 lakh from her bag is missing. Reportedly, the incident took place on Saturday, and it came to light when Ekta lifted her bag and felt it lighter. The case was registered under Section 379 of IPC by the cops, and as per reports, no arrest has been made so far.

"On counting the cash, she realized that 60,000 was missing. She approached the Juhu police station and filed a complaint,'' a source told a daily. ACP Dattatray Pandurang Bhargude confirmed the incident and told, ''It could be the handwork of someone working in Ekta's Juhu bungalow. The accused will be arrested soon.'' Reports also suggest that addresses and bank account details of five suspects have been taken and they will scan the details to find out who stole the cash or whether they have transferred the same to any of their relatives. Also, CCTV footages are being scanned to find out if any outsider entered her bungalow to rob.
