EXCLUSIVE: Barun Sobti on Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon 3 going off air: If it didn't work, we might have made a mistake
Barun Sobti opens up about his show Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon 3 going off air
Barun Sobti's Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon 3 started off with a bang amidst a lot of high expectations but as the show began so did its hurdles. The show was criticised at every step right from the casting of the female lead Shivani Tomar to eventually the script.
With Barun fans feeling cheated with his not so well characterized character and absence of Sanaya Irani as the lead, the show's TRP suffered terribly. Despite several attempts, the makers couldn't rake the TRP of the show which ultimately led to the decision of them pulling the plug on the show.
We exclusively got in touch with Barun Sobti and asked him about his reaction to the show going off air within a few months of its telecast. A nonchalant Barun said, It happens and that's okay."
He further mentioned, "I have no idea and I don't know what didn't resonate with the audience if we knew that we would have corrected it. Sometimes things work, sometimes they don't. People have the right to see what they want to see and if it's not working we might have made a mistake."
Barun Sobti is as of now all set for the release of his film Tu Hai Mera Sunday which is slated to release on October 6 the same day when his show Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon is going off air.
