Karan Patel, who has been slaying it as Raman Bhalla in the show Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, is taking a leap with his next venture, which is a night club, SYN, that he co-owns. In a candid and exclusive conversation with PINKVILLA, when asked if it was always in his mind, the actor denied saying it was an impromptu decision. However, is it a backup to all the rumours of Yeh Hai Mohabbatein going off air? The actor laughed saying a NO and added, "I have also heard about it [rumours] but I am not too sure, not confirmed as to if it is true. Speculations are there for a long time but I think as long as the show is there, enjoy it. Why worry about the end when you still have the show going on air."

Jumping on to his business venture, Karan said, "I'm very excited about it as it is a first for me. We have partied a lot at other places and now let's see how it feels to partially own one of them. For an actor, nothing is certain. There could be times when you are doing great and there could also be a time when there is a lull period. Other than that, I come from a business family and I am a Gujarati, hence the move," he quipped and cited the infamous dialogue from Raees which is 'Baniye Ka Dimaag Aur Miyanbhai Ki Daring'; he added, "It is also a stress buster. There is not just one thing you think about, so it helps you explore and multi task as well."

When asked if wife Ankita Patel has been supportive of this decision, Karan mentioned, "She is always supportive of everything I do, and every decision I make. I always discuss with her before taking any decision." And with that, he signed off.

Don't watch if you don't like it. Why try to ruin it for others??
