Parth Samthaan is someone who has a huge fan following due to his acting and handsome looks. The actor became popular with his role in the TV show Kaisi Yeh Yaariaan (KYY) as Manik Malhotra. He was also a part of popular shows like Savdhaan India, Yeh Hai Aashiqui and Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya. The actor was last seen in Ekta Kapoor's show Kasautii Zindagii Kay as he played the iconic role of Anurag Basu, and fans loved his look in the show. 

The actor recently revealed in a video about the reason for taking a long break of three years from TV, before he became a part of Kasautii Zindagii Kay. Parth told that after the wrap-up of the show KYY, he wanted to try his luck in Bollywood. 

He added that as he was an outsider in Bollywood, so it was difficult for him to get an appropriate role, and was unable to get the right offers. He revealed that after the KYY, he received many offers in the television industry, but his focus was on Bollywood, so he rejected them.

But when he was offered the role of Anurag in Kasautii Zindagii Kay, his parents urged him to sign the project. The show was a rage at that time and this made him take the role. The viewers loved his romantic chemistry with co-star Erica Fernandes on the show. 

He also said that he aims to be a Bollywood actor and someday he will achieve his dream.

Parth has a huge fan following on social media. He keeps his fans posted about his personal and professional life updates. He was recently shooting for his upcoming web series Hero.
