The Kapil Sharma Show: Netizens LASH OUT at Kapil Sharma for constantly taking a dig at Archana Puran Singh
The Kapil Sharma show is doing quite well, and garnering lots of attention from people. While people thought the show might take the down hill after Navjot Singh Sidhu's exit, nothing that sort of happened as 'Laughing Queen' Archana Puran Singh stepped into his shoes. Kapil who is known for his wit, humor and sarcasm, shares a good bond with Archana and is often seeing joking around with her. Whether it is about taking a dig at stealing Navjot's seat, or trying to copy him, Kapil in each and every episode is seen making funny jokes on Archana Puran Singh.
Though Archana is seen laughing at Kapil's comments always, some fans seem to be tad disappointment with Kapil for constantly targeting the lady. And after a recent episode, things went out of control and fans slammed the comedian for his insensitive remarks. What happened was Kapil in an episode that included the Pagalpanti cast including John Abraham, Anil Kapoor, Urvashi Rautela and others cracked jokes on Archana Puran Singh's dress style. Yes, he took a dig at her style statement and that did not go down with many on Twitter.
A user asked Kapil to watch his words, don't stoop low in the name of jokes and requested him to stop making disgusting fun of the lady. And rather asked him to respect her as she is the judge of the show. On the other hand, another user was upset with the audience who laughed off such remarks and called out to Kapil Sharma's comedy. I feel embarrassed for the audience in #TheKapilSharmaShow - they get humiliated without even realising. There’s fat shaming, the celebrity guests laugh at them. It’s not even funny.
Finally someone spoke. I tried to watch that show but the jokes are not funny, it is so offensive. Joking on skin color or body slamming is not funny. Bharti is another after kapil who does this. The you tube stand up comedians are way better than the one in itv
Ma'am, The point you are making is absolutely apt. But the greater point is Wo (Archana Puran Singh) khud apne uppar kiye gaye sexist jokes par dahaade maar-maar ke hansti hai aur enjoy karti hai. Use isi baat ke paise laankhon rupye milte hain. Wo bahut khush hai aise jokes se.
That's right, but that doesn't mean he should continuously keep doing the same week after week.. it's not funny anymore.
But, there were some who even pointed out that if Archana doesn't have a problem with Kapil's remarks, why are they getting furious. Meanwhile, neither Kapil nor Archana have reacted to the same. Check out the tweets here:
