Kundali Bhagya's Manit Joura opens up about how his profession helped him get his mother operated for tumour
Manit Joura says that his profession as an actor helped him to get his mother operated on for a brain tumour.
Kundali Bhagya actor Manit Joura has returned to the show and is excited about his second innings in the popular family drama. Manit had exited the show midway but has now made a comeback. Back then, it was reported that Manit quit the show to focus on his career in the Punjabi movie business. However, he has now revealed that it was because of his mother's health condition that he took a break from Kundali Bhagya. He played the role of Karan Luthra's (Dheeraj Dhoopar) elder brother, Rishabh.
Manit Joura quit the show to take care of his mother
In an interview with ETimes, Manit Joura opened up about the phase being a very difficult one when his mom got diagnosed with a brain tumour last year. Manit revealed that his mother's health condition was one of the reasons why he quit Kundali Bhagya as he wanted to spend all his time with his mother. Giving an update about her health, Manit shared that she has been treated and is doing much better now. The 39-year-old actor added that his being an actor helped him get an immediate appointment with a neurosurgeon for his mother.
Manit on how his profession helped him in getting an appointment with the neurosurgeon
Manit Joura narrated that he was leaving the hospital with a very heavy heart as he was unable to get an appointment with the neurosurgeon. Given the condition of his mother, he wanted immediate attention and care for her. While on his way out of the hospital, he bumped into a doctor, who recognised him and shared that his mother is a huge fan of Kundali Bhagya. The doctor requested Manit to talk to his fan on a video call. Manit obliged and he found out that the doctor is a neurosurgeon, and he shared his case with him. He got an immediate appointment for his mother and thanked his profession.
