My maa ke haath ka pav bhaji was, is and will always be my favourite dish! I remember that as a child, all my friends from school, as well as our neighbourhood would also love eating her homemade pav bhaji! Specially on my birthday, as that was the main dish made that day since I loved it so much!

Back home in Kolkata, during my childhood, my mother would make her special Gajar ka halwa recipe only in the winters mainly, which my brother and I would eagerly wait for and eat it nearly everyday! And during the rest of the year, she somehow never ended up making it as it wasn't too much in season, so I remember actually having fought with her so many times about not making it during the the other days because I would crave to eat her gajar ka halwa all the time! And I still keep forcing her to make it as and when she gets time, as her special gajar ka halwa has been a childhood favourite dish of mine, and it still is something I love to relish!

Mohit Malik

The one 'Maa ke haath' ka dish which I love eating till date is Churi. It is made with paratha, mixed with a lot of ghee and sugar. I remember always having the Churi crushed by my mom and noone else, as she did it the best! And now too, when she makes Churi at home in Delhi, she always sends me pictures of it to remind me about how much she misses me at home!

Rohan Mehra

The Aloo Ke Parathas that my mom used to make for breakfast since I was a child, and the same ones that she continues to make till today are to die for! That is one dish of hers I truly miss when I am  here in Mumbai and I always crave to eat it, specially for breakfast! And another dish of hers I have loved as a child is her Rajma Chawal which I always ask her to make for me when I am home in Amritsar.

Vahbiz Dorabjee

I have always been spoiled rotten because my mom is an excellent cook. She would cook and experiment with anew dish every single day, when I was back home in Pune. Though her chicken dum biryani which is always made in my honour when I go to Pune, is to die for. I only like her homemade biryani and no one elses because it is cooked in my honor and always made so well!

Juhi Parmar

My mom has always been a great cook, and her Pav Bhaji is one dish I absolutely love! And as I remember, when we were in school, we would have this particular pot luck kind of a day on any one day in the week, where I would bring my mom's handmade Pav Bhaji which was a hit among all my classmates!
