Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke will soon be making its way to the television screens starting 18th March on Star Plus. The show will see Shaheer Sheikh and Rhea Sharma playing the lead roles of Abir and Mishty with the plot surrounding around the idea of courtship period. Unlike Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, the show will be set in Gujarat and will see Rajvanshi's as the new family introduced alongside the Maheshwaris.

Now, this sounds interesting, doesn't it? Rajan Shahi in a brief conversation with PINKVILLA revealed that in order to make it smooth for the spin-off to kickstart, Mishty [Rhea Sharma] and Kuhu [Kaveri] 's character will be introduced in YRKKH in the next week so as to give context and will move to their individual stories starting 18th. Not just that, if you are wondering what about Maheshwaris? How did Mishty land up with them? Well, apparently, Mishty's parents will be shown abandoning her after which she will be seek home with Maheshwaris who have now moved base to Gujarat.

Rajan Shahi also promised fans a lot of integration between the two shows which will mean Kaira [Shivangi Joshi and Mohsin Khan] meeting the new onscreen couple, making us all the more curious for the upcoming spin off. The show will be replacing Ishqbaaaz to take the 10 PM slot.
