Television’s favorite couple, Dipika Kakar and Shoaib Ibrahim, have been navigating an incredibly challenging phase on the personal front. While Dipika has been bravely battling health complications following her stage 2 liver cancer diagnosis last year, Shoaib's father was also recently hospitalized after suffering a brain haemorrhage.
Amidst all the stress, rumors recently began circulating on social media that the Sasural Simar Ka actress was set to undergo another major surgery after doctors detected new cysts. Now, putting an end to all the speculation, husband Shoaib has come forward to clear the air, revealing that Dipika has instead started her immunotherapy sessions.

Taking to his latest YouTube vlog to keep fans and well-wishers updated, Shoaib Ibrahim directly addressed the growing concern regarding Dipika Kakar's health. The Ajooni actor firmly confirmed that his wife is not heading back to the operation theater anytime soon.
He shared, “A lot of people have been asking if Dipika is undergoing another surgery. As of now, the doctor has not said anything; the surgery is not happening at the moment.”
Dipika, who previously underwent a tumor-removal surgery in 2025 and a subsequent cyst procedure earlier this year, recently discovered two new small cysts during an MRI scan. While the cysts are currently too small for surgical intervention, her medical team has initiated immunotherapy to manage her condition.
Shoaib added, “Dipika’s immunotherapy has started at HN Reliance Hospital; it will take 3-4 hours. After this, I will head to Kokilaben Hospital to meet Papa. We hope Dipika’s immunotherapy works.”
The family is currently managing medical emergencies at two different hospitals. Giving an update on his father’s health, Shoaib shared that after a tense 10 days, his father is doing better and his health is improving day by day.
The emotional son revealed, “His speech and the right side of the body will eventually recover. The day before yesterday, after 10 days, he finally started speaking; he has started smiling now. His speech therapy will begin soon because when he tries to speak long sentences, he blabbers. In the last 1-2 days, things have started to get better.”
