Shreya Kalra spills how Kushal Tandon flirted with her, despite dating Shivangi Joshi: ‘When I got a hint…I stopped’
Shreya Kalra reveals on the show Lock Upp 2 that Kushal Tandon used to flirt with her via text even though he was dating Shivangi Joshi.
Shreya Kalra is currently competing on the reality show Lock Upp 2. During a recent episode, the actress claimed that Kushal Tandon had flirted with her while he was reportedly seeing Shivangi Joshi.
Shreya Kalra spills how Kushal Tandon used to flirt with her
During a conversation with Shilpa Shinde, Shreya Kalra revealed that she had shot a promotional video for Barsatein with Kushal. According to her, Kushal messaged her on Instagram after the shoot wrapped up. She said, "I was dating at that time, and there was something going on between Kushal and Shivangi as well. I didn't know about it. Then Kushal started speaking to me, but when I got a hint about him and Shivangi, I stopped."
Shreya further claimed that when she later met Shivangi on the show's set, the actress told her that Kushal had said Shreya was the one who had messaged and followed him on social media. Shreya said, "I said, 'Excuse me. I wouldn't be the first person to approach any man. I've never done that in my entire life.' I gave my phone to her. She read my whole chat. I didn't flirt back, and I didn't say anything. After doing scenes, she used to cry."
She also alleged that three to five months later, Kushal posted an Instagram Story announcing his breakup with Shivangi. However, Kushal Tandon and Shivangi Joshi have not publicly responded to Shreya's claims.
Kushal Tandon and Shivangi Joshi worked together on Barsatein - Mausam Pyaar Ka, after which reports and speculation about their relationship began circulating. In June 2025, Kushal appeared to confirm their split through an Instagram Story, although he later deleted the post.
