Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2 gets dethroned by Vasudha
The TRP report for the week is out, and the television landscape has been hit by a massive earthquake. While some legacy shows are fighting to maintain their status, some new dramas are taking over the hearts of the Indian audience.
In a shocking turn of events, Vasudha has climbed to the peak, clinching the No. 1 spot with a TRP rating of 1.8. The 2024 show, which is an official remake of the Telugu hit Muddha Mandaram, has been steadily gaining momentum. Seems like the high-octane drama has finally paid off.
Taking the second spot with a 1.7 rating is Tulsi Virani’s Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2. The cult classic’s magic is clearly still working wonders for the channel. The third spot is occupied by Ravie Dubey and Sargun Mehta’s production, Ganga Mai Ki Betiyan. It secured a solid 1.6 rating. The show’s emotional narrative around self-respect and family bonds has resonated deeply with the viewers.
Meanwhile, Tumm Se Tumm Tak and the long-standing favorite Anupamaa are currently tied. Both shows garnered a 1.5 rating, with Anupamaa barely managing to keep its foot in the top five.

Interestingly, Ekta Kapoor’s supernatural thriller, Naagin 7, and the cooking-comedy series, Laughter Chefs – Unlimited Entertainment, also found their way into the trending list.
