The second season of Samay Raina’s mega-viral reality show, India’s Got Latent, dropped its highly anticipated second episode. This time, the panel was packed with powerhouse artists including comedy veterans Kiku Sharda, Chandan Prabhakar, and Haarsh Limbachiyaa. However, the person who completely hijacked the spotlight wasn't a celebrity judge; it was a contestant named Geni Kamki. Read on to know why she is trending.

Who is India’s Got Latent 2 contestant Geni Kamki?

During her introduction, Geni Kamki casually dropped some information that left Samay Raina entirely speechless. She revealed that one of her dance videos has amassed a whopping 134 million views across social media platforms.

The revelation prompted co-host Balraj Singh Ghai to mockingly point out that even Samay doesn't pull those numbers on his individual videos. Raina was quick to agree to the same. In fact, he was so impressed by Geni that he even offered her his judge’s seat. So, who exactly is Geni Kamki?

Long before stepping onto India’s Got Latent 2 stage, Geni had already garnered scores of followers on her Instagram handle, @luciidforyou. Her breakthrough came when she grooved to the beats of the hit Telugu track Vachindamma from the 2018 film Geetha Govindam.

The flawless comic timing, mixed with her effortless expressions, struck an immediate chord with many social media users. While she told the judges the video had 118 million views at the time of filming, it has since surged past the 134 million mark.

Geni's dance wasn't just celebrated by netizens; it attracted major praise from mainstream film industries like Geetha Govindam lead stars Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda, along with celebs like Aditi Rao Hydari, Aparshakti Khurana, comedian Zakir Khan and more.

What makes Geni Kamki stand out from standard internet creators is the depth of her actual craft. Hailing from Arunachal Pradesh, she is currently based in Guwahati, where she balances her content creation with studying homeopathy. Moreover, Geni is a heavily trained artiste in Kathak, Sattriya (the classical dance form of Assam), and more. On the show, she performed a high-octane 90-second act featuring an unreleased song written by her brother.
