Five time world champions Australia will take on qualifiers Afghanistan in the 4th game of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 at Bristol on Saturday. Aussies will be bolstered by the return of their proven match-winners Steve Smith and David Warner. They will be keen on making amends in the international arena and help their side lift the coveted trophy for the sixth time. Afghanistan on the other hand, have players who have exceeded expectations with their performances. They have world-class bowlers in their line-up with the likes of Rashid Khan, Mujeeb Ur Rahman and Mohammad Nabi performing consistently and should never be taken lightly.

Key Players for Australia:

David Warner is expected to provide the much needed stability at the top of the order and propel his side to competitive totals as skipper Aaron Finch is woefully out of form. He will be supported by Steve Smith and Glenn Maxwell who are in good form coming into the tournament.

Mitchell Starc, who was adjudged the Man of the tournament in the previous edition, picked up 22 wickets and helped his side lift the title. He will share the new ball with Pat Cummins. The pace duo will be expected to rattle the opposition batsmen with their fiery pace and bounce.

Key Players for Afghanistan:

Afghanistan would hope that their destructive opener Mohammad Shahzad gets going early on in the mega event. When he is on song, he can score runs at a brisk pace and can dismantle any bowling attack.

With the ball, Rashid Khan, the best leg-spinner of the current generation is expected to pick up crucial wickets in the middle overs and make life difficult for the Australians. He will be the go to man for his captain in crunch situations throughout the tournament.
