English opener brought up his ninth ODI hundred against Bangladesh in the ongoing World Cup 2019 but the celebrations were slightly delayed as he knocked down umpire Joel Wilson while running for his hundredth run.

In the fifth over of the 27th over Roy pulled a Mustafizur Rahman ball towards deep mid-wicket. However, a  misfield ensured that the ball ran away towards the ropes. Roy, batting at 96 that time, got his hundred.

However, he kept running towards the non-striker's end and did not see Wilson in front of him. The umpire, who was eyeing the ball too, did not see the batter run into him either. It ended in a minor collision.

However, a few laughs later, both were up on their feet and Roy celebrated England's third World Cup in the World Cup. It also helped him go past Graham Gooch on the list of most hundreds in ODIs.

Here is how Twitter reacted.

Roy was eventually out for 153.
