South Africa have been in dismal form in this ongoing World Cup, losing three games on the trot - to England, Bangladesh and India. They play their fourth game against West Indies tomorrow at Southampton under pressure and will want to stage a comeback. However, things will not be easy as they have injury concerns as well going into the game. Dale Steyn and Lungi Ngidi have been injured, with the former ruled out of the edition, and the side will be struggling to find momentum.

West Indies, on the other hand, are grossly underrated but have shown their skills in the two games thus far. The quartet of Oshane Thomas, Sheldon Cottrell, Andre Russell and Jason Holder have been formidable and have made full use of the seam friendly conditions.

Given the struggles of the South African batting order, it is expected that the Windies pacers could wreak havoc again. There is a 90% chance of rain, and even if it does not pour, the conditions will be overcast, which will help the seamers. Though the Proteas have pacers like Kagiso Rabada in their ranks, there is very little back-up for him, and with their batting looking out of sorts as well, backing South Africa to win seems next to impossible.

With big hitters like Chris Gayle, Shai Hope, Shimron Hetmyer and all-rounders like Russell and Holder who can strike big, the Windies are more balanced and hence are the favourites.
