Article 15 Box Office Collection Day 1: The Ayushmann Khurrana starrer starts on a good note

Ayushmann Khurrana starrer Article 15 finally hit the screens yesterday. The sensitive social issue got presented in front of the audience. Through this film, the actor aims to eliminate caste discrimination from this country. Ayushmann gave his hundred percent in this particular project. The movie received a very positive feedback from the audience. Fans enjoyed watching Khurrana playing a cop for the first time.

Article 15 managed to bag a total of Rs 4.75 crore on it's frst day at the box office. The film is facing competition from Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani's Kabir Singh. In fact, Article 15 is doing much better than Ayushmann's previous film Andhadhun's first day collections which were Rs 2.46 crores. The film has started off decently and is expected to do well over the weekend. 

Directed by Anubhav Sinha, the film also stars Isha Talwar, Manoj Pahwa, Sayani Gupta, Kumud Mishra, M Naser, Ashish Verma, Sushil Pandey, Subrajyoti Bharat, and Zeeshan Ayub. Ayushmann will play the role of a cop for the very first time. Article 15 of the Indian Constitution is about prohibition of discrimination on grounds of religion, race, caste, sex or place of birth.
