Sajid-Farhad's Housefull 3 may have been panned by the critics, but the audience has given them a thumbs up. The film has been performing exceptionally well at the box office and had a blockbuster Sunday.
Housefull 3 collected INR 21.80 crores on Sunday, taking the three day total to INR 53.31 crores. With this, the film has become the biggest opener of 2016. In fact, it is the highest opening weekend collection for any Akshay Kumar release, the previous highest being Brothers with INR 47.50 crores.
With no major movie having released last week, Housefull 3 is sure to enjoy a good run at the box office even on the week days.
