Total Dhamaal starring Ajay Devgn, Madhuri Dixit, Anil Kapoor, Riteish Deshmukh, Esha Gupta, Arshad Warsi and Javed Jaffrey released on Friday last week. Directed by Indra Kumar, the film is a third sequel to the Dhamaal series. When the trailer came out, the audience got an idea of what kind of madness to expect from the film.
This Ajay starrer opened to mixed reviews from the critics. However, the audience seems to be enjoying the craziness and fun in the show. On its first day, the film made a collection of Rs 16.5 crores. Ranveer Singh's Gully Boy which released on February 14 was the first film 0f 2019 to have a big opening at the box office and now Total Dhamaal is on the second position.
Coming to the second day, Saturday, Total Dhamaal has shown great growth. As reported by Box Office India, on its second day, Total Dhamaal has made a collection of Rs 20 crore. Thus, the total collection of the film is now Rs 36 crore approx. The film is heading for the biggest weekend of the year, reports BOI. 
This is the first time Ajay Devgn, Madhuri Dixit and Anil Kapoor are a part of the Dhamaal series. Sonakshi Sinha also has a special dance number Mungda, a recreation of Helen's song Mungla from Inkaar.
Riteish Deshmukh, Arshad Warsi and Javed Jaffrey have been a part of the first two films which had Sanjay Dutt too as one of the leads.
