Thala Ajith and Lady Superstar Nayanthara starrer Viswasam is setting a huge record at the Box Office since its release. The film opened to some amazing reviews and is earning extraordinary at the ticket windows. The film released along with Rajinikanth starrer Petta which is also doing good down South. While Viswasan is ruling in Tamil Nadu, Petta has taken over Chennai like a boss. Both the films have been setting new records with each passing day. Petta entered Rs 100 crore club in just 4 days of its release.
On the other hand, Viswasam has finally entered Rs 100 crore club worldwide. Trade analyst Ramesh Bala shared about the same on twitter. The tweet reads, "#Thala #Ajith 's #Viswasam has crossed ₹ 100 Crs Gross at the WW Box office. A tremendous achievement for a movie in a single lang version and which clashed with a biggie to achieve this in few days after release." The film has collected half a million Singapore dollar for the opening weekend in Singapore.

Viswasam had earned Rs 1.05 crore in Chennai on day 4 at the Box Office. On the other hand, Petta is also ruling like a boss. The film has managed to mint Rs 1.32 crore on day 4 at Chennai Box Office, thus, taking the total collection to Rs 4.81 crore.
The genre of Viswasam is quite different and director Siva has come up with a new concept. The entertainer sees Thala Ajith in a double role, which is one of the highlights of the film.
Meanwhile, Thala Ajith will soon start the shooting for Pink Tamil remake. The film will see Vidya Balan in the female lead.
