It was only a few hours ago that we exclusively broke the news of Brahmastra logo which will be unveiled tonight at the Kumbh Mela in Pragyagraj. For the same, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Nagarjuna, Ayan Mukerji have jet off to Uttar Pradesh. Alia even shared a video from the flight where she has excitedly asked the fans to look forward to the evening for the big surprise.
Well, while we await to see the grand launch which has been planned by the production house, here's another exclusive news for you which might add perspective as to why the team and Ranbir might have chosen to unveil the logo on Mahashivratri. Pinkvilla has learnt that Ranbir plays the role of Shiva in the trilogy and what better day to reveal something significant to the audiences. We also know that the event tonight has been scaled on a large level and we just cannot wait for it.
Meanwhile, Brahmastra's release has been postponed to December this year. The movie is the first of the trilogy to be directed by Ayan and also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Mouni Roy in pivotal roles. For the movie, both Ranbir and Alia have shot at several locations including Mumbai. The adventure thriller will be first of a kind in India and has been pegged to be one of the most anticipated movies this year.
