A doting mother, a terrific actor and an equally warm actor, Rani is back to enthrall us all with her amazing cinematic presence in the movie Hichki.
Rani plays the role of a teacher who is suffering from Tourette syndrome in Hichki. The actor's performance in the movie has already got everyone talking.
With Hichki, Rani is returning to the screen after a gap of over three years and the excitement around is palpable.
Having said that, in a quick interview with PINKVILLA, we asked Rani what has she learned from her daughter, Adira, in the past two years given that a woman turns a teacher and a student simultaneously as soon as they embrace motherhood.
To this, Rani warmly answered, "With Adira, every day is a learning process."
Adding further, she revealed the one thing that she has definitely learned from Adira. "What I learned from her is that she is very sure of what she wants. She doesn't waiver her answers and I love that about her. I hope she maintains that because I think she is clear about what she wants in life and that is something I am learning from her," Rani added. 
When asked on her two years journey of being a mother, the talented actor stated, "It's been a wonderful journey. I think the answer is very obvious, I think every mother will feel ecstatic, every mother will feel that she is the only mother in the world. For me, as I say, my life has completely changed after Adira. It couldn't have been anything better, it's nothing less than a miracle. To exactly believe that you have actually given birth to a child, that feeling of giving birth to a life is an amazing one, which any woman will feel and I felt the same."
Meanwhile, coming to Hichki, when we asked how different was it to face the camera after 3 years, Rani said, "Facing the camera was not different because when you are in front of the camera, the feeling is the same but I play different parts. In Mardani, I played a cop, in Hichki, I play a teacher. Naina Mathur in Hichki is strong, very spirited woman whereas Shivani was a no-nonsense kind of a cop."
She also spoke about what she expects people to take away from the movie.
