After locking horns on January 25, both Raees and Kaabil have witnessed a massive jump on the second day of their release, which happens to be a National holiday on account of Republic Day.
While the Shah Rukh Khan starrer earned around INR 26.30 crore as per early estimates on the second day, Kaabil witnessed a 80% jump and collected INR 18.67 crore.
With this, Raees has recorded the highest day collection ever for a film when there have been two big ticket movies releasing on the same day. The two-day total of Raees stands at INR 46.50 crore.
The Hrithik Roshan starrer has earned INR 29.1 crore in two days.
Interestingly, while the production numbers are mentioned above, the Box Office India figures have a different mention.
According to BOI, SRK's Raees earned INR 26 crore on day two whereas Hrithik's Kaabil made INR 16 crore, taking the two day total to INR 23.61 crore.
