Deadline reports that the Tom Holland starrer is tracking an opening weekend collection of $170 million plus. Spider-Man: Far From Home is set to release on July 2, thus giving it a six-day weekend. Trade analysts that it will mint as much as possible in its extended weekend. It is also said that the movie has a shot at entering the $200-million club by the end of its first weekend. We wouldn't be surprised if it does. The report also quotes Social media monitor RelishMix to explain that fans will walk into the cinemas to wrap up the aftermath of Endgame.

While the success of Avengers: Endgame would drive the audience into the theatre to understand what the Marvel Cinematic Universe Phase 4 could possibly look like, Forbes argues that Iron Man's absence from the Spider-Man: Homecoming sequel could impact the movie.

The last time Tom Holland's friendly neighbourhood Spider-Man ventured out solo, he had Tony Stark to mentor him. That played a huge influence on the overall box office collection of Spider-Man: Homecoming. The 2017 release earned $880 million worldwide by the end of its theatrical run. However, it is to see how the audience would react to an Iron Man-less movie. Apart from that, the international publication also argues that there are other summer releases like The Lion King and Toy Story 4 which could impact the overall collections of the movie.
