Hrithik Roshan starrer Super 30 released two weeks ago. The film received mixed reaction from the audience. However, it is doing well on the box office. Hrithik's performance in the film is being deeply appreciated. The film also features Mrunal Thakur, Pankaj Tripathi, Aditya Srivastava and Nandish Sandhu. It is based on the life of mathematician and global influencer Anand Kumar from Bihar. Hrithik Roshan plays the role of Anand in the film.
Super 30 has maintained it's growth very well since the last three weeks. The fourth weekend did a good business of Rs 5.75 crore nett. The total of the film has gone up to Rs 137 crore nett and it looks like the film can finish at around Rs 145 crore nett. The film has become the sixth highest grosser of the year in nett and gross numbers.
Super 30 is facing tough competition from Disney's live action film The Lion King and Kangna Ranaut, Rajkummar Rao starrer Judgementall Hai Kya. However, the target audience is different so it should not be a problem. Helmed by Vikas Bahl, Super 30 narrates the real life story of a mathematician Anand Kumar. He helps 30 plus students every year to crack the IIT entrance exams.
