Hrithik Roshan's Super 30 finally hit the screens a week ago and is receiving a mixed response till now. Hrithik has given a spectacular performance in the film and worked very hard for it. The film also features Mrunal Thakur, Pankaj Tripathi, Aditya Srivastava and Nandish Singh. Ahead of the release, Hrithik had shared the importance of this film and how it has a place in his heart. The actor had also appreciated the hard work of the 30 students in the film.
It is based on the life of mathematician and global influencer Anand Kumar from Bihar. Hrithik Roshan plays the role of Anand in the film. Super 30 has done well in it's first week as it collected Rs. 75.50 crore nett at the box office. The film had a rough start, however, managed to show grow over the weekend and do well on the weekdays. The film did good business in the South, beating first week grossers like Total Dhamaal and Kesari. 
The performance of the film is very similar to Gully Boy without the extended first week and Valentines Day add on. To beat Gully Boy and gain a chance of becoming a hit film, Super 30 must do better in the second week than the first one. The other stars like Pankaj Tripathi and Mrunal Thakur were also applauded for their performances.
