A few months ago, Bejoy Nambiar announced his next big project. Titled Taish, the action thriller was supposed to star Amit Sadh, Jim Sarbh and Harshvardhan Rane in lead roles. But now, there's a big problem that awaits Taish. What is it? A source reveals, "Amit has opted out of the film. He recently informed the team that he can't be part of Taish anymore." Were there mutual differences? Our source responds in the negative. "No, they amicably parted ways. The film is high on action and stunt sequences. Amit has been recovering from a severe back injury and was advised to not put any futher pressure on himself and cause the injury to aggravate. The demand of the film was such that he had to unfortunately let go of Taish."

Amit, on the other hand, will begin filming for another project which doesn't require him to put any strain on his body. "He has signed the Shakuntala Devi biopic which stars Vidya Balan and Sanya Malhotra in lead roles. The film will kickstart its first schedule in London in the first week of September and Amit will be joining the crew then itself." As for Taish, the makers are currently looking for a proper replacement for the film.
