While Sidharth's last few films failed to create magic at the box office, a lot of critics raised eyebrows at his bankability. But with Jabariya Jodi, the actor has taken up a space that he has never been seen in before. Catering to the mass pan-India audience, this will be his most masala film till date. Talking to us exclusively, Sidharth explains what took him so long to jump to this mainstream entertainer space. The actor says, "Jabariya Jodi has a lot of fun and entertaining lines and a world that is colourful. It's colourful, loud. I think it wasn't a matter of time, it was just a matter of finding the right character to play within that world. I just found this character of Abhay Singh from Patna very very colourful yet strong. So it's just a matter of me loving the character and the world and the  setting of this love story between pakadwa vivaah was very interesting and hence I am doing this right now."

The actor has opened up in a previous interview about how he saw things change after a few dull Fridays. He had explained how he has a fire in his belly to prove all his critics wrong. While the general public has hailed the promo as supremely entertaining, Sid is elated.  He reveals, "Yes so far, I'm very very excited and happy with the response to the trailer, to the film, to the character to Abhay Singh, to the lehza. For me it was completely new and people haven't seen me in this zone and in this avatar.  When I get a positive response as an actor; this is something I have worked really hard for. I have prepped and build this character from scratch. Definitely, there's a sense of validation that I am getting, I am hoping the best for the film. I wish that on 2nd of August people come and fall in love with this love story."
