She revealed that she had stored her eggs when she was 36, feeling a calling for a long time. Uncertain about marriage, she chose not to conform to societal expectations.
Ektaa mentioned that her parents eventually accepted that marriage might not be in her cards. Her mother suggested having a child at that time, but Ektaa decided to do it when the time was right and through surrogacy.
Surprisingly, one day, they learned that Ektaa's brother, Tusshar Kapoor, also wanted to become a parent through surrogacy. He went ahead with the decision and informed their parents that he would be a single father. This revelation left both of their parents astonished and looking gobsmacked.
