Devara, Jr. NTR’s upcoming film with Koratala Siva, is undeniably one of the most anticipated films of 2024. The film features an ensemble cast including Janhvi Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan, Prakash Raj, Shine Tom Chacko, and several others in crucial roles.
In recent times, there have been several rumors about the release date of the film’s first glimpse being around the corner. In fact, Nandamuri Balakrishna had confirmed in a media interaction that the release date would be announced as soon as the makers are satisfied with the VFX. Further, music composer Anirudh Ravichander had shared his reaction to the teaser on social media as well.
Devara First Glimpse to be released on January 8
In the latest update, Jr. NTR took to his X (formerly Twitter) to announce that Devara’s first glimpse will be released by the makers on January 8, Monday. He also shared a new poster of the film, in which he seemed to be leading a fleet of boats amidst a raging storm. The actor also wished his fans a happy new year.

Devara is all set to be a two-part film set in the coastal regions of India, and Jr. NTR portrays a character belonging to the region. The movie is bankrolled by Yuvasudha Arts in tandem with NTR Arts, while Anirudh Ravichander takes care of the film’s music. R Rathnavelu cranks the camera for the film, and veteran editor A Sreekar Prasad will be in charge of the film’s editing. The first part of the film is all set to release on April 5.
On the work front
After Devara, the RRR actor will next be seen in Ayan Mukherji’s upcoming film, War 2, which features Hrithik Roshan in the lead role. The film marks the Janatha Garage actor’s Hindi debut and features him as the antagonist. Apart from Hrithik Roshan and Jr. NTR, the film also features an ensemble cast including Kiara Advani, John Abraham, Shabir Ahluwalia, and many more. It is understood that War 2 will be the sixth installment in the YRF Spy Universe.
