Things are looking bleak at the box office for Saif Ali Khan's latest outing Chef which released on Friday.
While Day 1 only saw the movie collect INR 1.05 crore at the box office, there was minimum growth on Saturday as Chef earned INR 1.15 crore, according to a leading trade website.
Directed by Raja Krishna Menon, Chef also stars Svar Kamble, Padmapriya Dinesh Prabhakar, Chandan Roy Sanyal and Milind Soman. Chef is the Hindi adaptation of the 2014 Hollywood movie by the same name which then starred Jon Favreau, Emjay Anthony, Sofia Vergara, Robert Downey Jr. and Scarlett Johansson.
On the other hand, Varun Dhawan's movie Judwaa 2 is doing phenomenal business at the box office in the beginning of week 2, as well.
Pinkvilla informed you that the movie had attained the prestigious INR 100 crore mark. The second Saturday's collections stand at INR 5.75 crore. The total collection of Judwaa 2 is now INR 108.08 crore and counting.
Varun's movie ABCD 2 held the position as the actor's second highest grosser but now, the crown is in Judwaa 2's throne as it races ahead of Remo D'Souza's movie.
That is surely amazing news for Varun who is being touted as the current generation's most bankable star with 9 back-to-back hits!
Directed by David Dhawan, Judwaa 2 also stars Jacqueline Fernandez and Taapsee Pannu and sees Varun in a twin avatar as Raja and Prem. The movie is a sequel to the 1997 comedy Judwaa which then starred Salman, Karisma Kapoor and Taapsee Pannu. Salman has a cameo in the movie as he reprises his iconic twin characters, Raja and Prem.
