Prabhas and Shraddha Kapoor starrer Saaho hit the theatres about a week ago and is now facing a drop at the box office. The action thriller has been in headlines since a very long time. Fans have kept their excitement uptight ever since its announcement two years ago. The viewers are very eager to watch them pair up for the very first time. In fact, Shraddha is making her South debut with Saaho and will also play the role of a cop for the first time ever.
According to Box Office India, Saaho wintessed nother drop on Wednesday but the collections are still doing good and better than all the other hindi releases this year except Kabir Singh and Uri - The Surgical Strike for the first Wednesday. The film minted Rs 6.75 crore nett on Wednesday and took its six day total upto Rs 108.50 crore nett. The film crossed the 100 crore nett benchmark earlier which is not such a big deal for a Prabhas starrer. Till now, only the eight films have hit Rs 100 crore nett from outside, the others being Bahubali - The Beginning, The Jungle Book, Bahubali - The Conclusion, Avengers - Infinity War, 2.0, Avengers - Endgame and The Lion King.
Talking about Saaho, the high budgeted film has been made with nearly Rs 350 crore, which makes it the most expensive film to be produced in India. Helmed by Telugu filmmaker Sujeeth, Saaho also features Jackie Shroff, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Mandira Bedi, Chunky Panday, Mahesh Manjrekar, Arun Vijay and Murali Sharma. The film has been shot in three languages, Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu.
