In January this year, Pinkvilla had reported that Richa Chadha will team up with Scam 1992: The Harshad Mehta Story star Pratik Gandhi for Tigmanshu Dhulia’s on screen adaptation of Vikas Swarup’s bestseller, Six Suspects. We had also informed that the makers are in the process of zeroing on the supporting cast. Pinkvilla now has an exclusive update on the web show. We have learnt that soon after wrapping up her upcoming thriller series Candy in Nainital, Richa along with Pratik started shooting for Dhulia’s yet-untitled series from February 21.

“Pratik and Richa are shooting for the show in Delhi. They will be filming across the city and will be there for around a month. Major portions of the show will be shot at real locations. The second schedule will begin in Mumbai sometime next month,” informs a source close to the development. Interestingly, Richa will be returning to Delhi again in April to start shooting for Mrighdeep Singh Lamba’s Fukrey 3 with Ali Fazal, Pulkit Samrat, Varun Sharma and Manjot Singh.

Reportedly, Swarup’s first book, Q & A, was loosely adapted by Danny Boyle for Slumdog Millionaire. His Six Suspects is a fictional tale that largely revolves around the murder of Uttar Pradesh’s Home Minister’s son, and the hunt to find the actual killer.

Meanwhile, Pratik Gandhi became an overnight star after playing the titular role in Hansal Mehta’s Scam 1992: The Harshad Mehta Story. On Monday, his next movie outing titled Woh Ladki Hai Kahaan was announced. Produced by Siddharth Roy Kapur, the film also features Taapsee Pannu.
