Guntur Kaaram will stream on the Netflix platform from February 9th, 2024, in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi. Apart from Mahesh Babu, Guntur Kaaram stars a massive ensemble cast of Sree Leela, Meenakshi Chaudhary, Prakash Raj, Ramya Krishna, Rao Ramesh, Jagapathi Babu, Ajay Ghosh and many others.
The film has been written and directed by Trivikram Srinivas and produced by Naga Vamsi under the Haarika and Hassine Creations banner, with Thaman S scoring the music for the film.
Guntur Kaaram starring Mahesh Babu was released in theatres on 12th January 2024 and opened to mixed responses from the audience, with majorly negative reviews surrounding the film in the initial days of its release. However, with the Sankranti advantage, the film managed to pull in the family audience, which led to Guntur Kaaram standing its ground despite facing stiff competition from other Sankranti releases like the sensational HanuMan and the Nagarjuna starrer Naa Saami Ranga.
However, the film underperformed due to the audience's mixed response, with the overseas markets especially taking a hit.

Mahesh Babu is currently in Germany, where the actor is reportedly undergoing strength training for his upcoming film with SS Rajamouli. Mahesh also posted a few pictures from the gym as well as his outdoor training with his trainer. The film is touted to be an action-adventure drama set in the backdrop of the African jungles. Recently, the writer of the film, and SS Rajamouli’s father Vijayendra Prasad confirmed that the script for the movie has been completed and that the post-production and technical work is underway. The star writer also confirmed that Oscar-award-winning music composer MM Keerawani has begun scoring the music for the film.
Mahesh Babu has also reportedly committed 3 years to the vision of SS Rajamouli, within which the actor will not be taking up any new projects.
