As many Tamil celebrities are flocking in to cast their precious vote in this year's Lok Sabha elections, Thalapathy Vijay has also arrived to cast his vote. The actor was seen arriving at the polling booth, filled with people who were excited to see him.
The actor was earlier seen reaching his home in Chennai from where he set out to the polling booth and vote in his constituency. The mob-like crowd had a huge commotion upon seeing the superstar and even started chanting his name. Along with voting, one can also spot a minor injury on the actor's hand which is likely to be from the recent stunt sequence for his film The Greatest Of All Time.

For the unversed, Thalapathy Vijay had been in Russia for quite some time owing to the pending work for his next film. It was said that the team of GOAT was currently shooting a chase sequence and it seems that the minor injury the actor has is due to the same.
Moreover, the actor has always managed to exercise his voting rights on every electoral occasion that takes place in Tamil Nadu. Interestingly, in the upcoming Tamil Nadu state assembly election which is to be held in 2026, Thalapathy Vijay will also be contesting from his own party, Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK). The actor-turned-politician had also stated that his party would not be issuing their support to any party for the current elections as well.
The actor is also set to feature in one more cinematic venture before taking an apparent departure from films and spending more of his time on his political venture. However, an official confirmation about his 69th film is yet to be made.

The film is musically crafted by Yuvan Shankar Raja who is collaborating on a Vijay project after many years as a composer. The film’s first single Whistle Podu sung by the actor himself was recently released with Madhan Karky penning the lyrics.
