Renowned cinematographer KK Senthil Kumar’s wife Roohi also known as Ruheenaaz took her last breath on 15th February 2024. As per reports, she was undergoing treatment at KIMS Hospital in Secunderabad as she was facing multiple health issues related to her health.
Roohi was declared dead after multiple organ failure. She is said to have battled with multiple health issues in recent days. Senthil had taken off from work to take care of his wife. The last rites of Roohi will be conducted on 16th February.
The last rites will take place in Vaikuntha Mahaprasthanam (Jubilee Hills) in Hyderabad. Roohi and Senthil got married to each other in June 2009. Meanwhile, Senthil Kumar has largely worked with SS Rajamouli. They have collaborated on numerous projects including Baahubali: The Beginning, Baahubali: The Conclusion, Magadheera, Arundhati, Eega, and Rajamouli's critically acclaimed film RRR.

Roohi was a renowned yoga instructor who had worked with many famous Telugu celebrities such as Anushka, Prabhas, and Ileana D’Cruz. She was overseeing Bharat Thakur’s yoga classes for the Hyderabad division. The duo was known for being private with their relationship and family affairs. Roohi and Senthil have two kids.
Senthil is from Secunderabad while Roohi hails from Mumbai. It was because of their work that they got together in Hyderabad. They had met through a common friend. The couple then fell in love and got married.

Senthil and Rajamouli last worked together on the superhit film RRR. The film is a fictional tale of Indian revolutionaries starring Ram Charan and Jr NTR in lead roles. The film is set in the 1920s when India was under British rule. The film also stars Alia Bhatt and Ajay Devgn in supporting roles. The movie also created history at the Oscars 2023.
