Ending all the anticipation today, the makers of Rajinikanth starrer Thalaivar 171 released the title teaser of the film. The movie directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj is officially titled as Coolie.
The title teaser not only unveils the film's official title but also presents a massive and stylish intro for the Superstar. The makers have also opted to use a black-and-white format for the teaser, with only gold highlighted in color. Along with that, there is an iconic callback to one of Rajinikanth's dialogues from yesteryears.

The title teaser featuring Rajinikanth offers quite a massive punch to the film. The more than 3-minute-long teaser offers the energetic Superstar kicking off the bad guys one by one as they come to attack him. Moreover, the dialogue narrated by the actor is from his own movie called Ranga, which was released back in 1982, making it an iconic moment for Thalaivar fans.
Interestingly, the background score composed by Anirudh Ravichander is a reiteration of the song Vaa Vaa Pakkam Vaa from the film Thangamagan. The song was originally composed by maestro Ilaiyaraaja, with the late singers SP Balasubrahmanyam and Vani Jairam crooning for the track.
With the addition of these elements, the teaser also confirmed the film's official crew, including Girish Gangadharan, handling the camera. This marks the cinematographer's second outing with the director after their previous hit, Vikram. Moreover, Anbariv Masters once again joined them for the film, and Philomin Raj handled the editing.
However, an official confirmation about the film's cast is yet to come in, with the shoot set to commence soon.

Rajinikanth's upcoming flick Vettaiyan, directed by Jai Bhim’s TJ Gnanavel, is set to arrive in theaters next. The film is speculated to tell the tale of an ex-police officer who tries to uncover the mysteries surrounding him.
The movie already has an ensemble cast of key actors in crucial roles, including Amitabh Bachchan, Fahadh Faasil, Rana Daggubati, Rithika Singh, Manju Warrier, and many more. It is officially slated to hit the big screens in October this year.
