Aladdin Box Office Collection Day 5: Will Smith starrer continues to perform decently, crosses Rs 20 crores

In India, as per box office numbers the movie has raked in the most revenue as opposed to the two other films that released on the same Friday.

Starring Mena Massoud, Will Smith, Naomi Scott, Marwan Kenzari and Navid Negahban in the lead roles, Aladdin has been doing better than expected at the global box office. Falling behind Aladdin are PM Narendra Modi biopic and Arjun Kapoor starrer India's Most Wanted. The weekend collection of Aladdin was the highest and the total collection of Disney's live-action movie currently stands at Rs 24 crore after five days.

According to a report in Box Office India, Aladdin is performing decently at the box office and collected around Rs 3 crore on day five, Tuesday. The report adds that the film has a chance to do around Rs 40 crore plus lifetime business which would be a decent result. 

Aladdin, which received mixed reviews from critics, opened at the box office with a collection of Rs 4.15 crore. However, globally it became a much bigger hit than anticipated, reported ScreenRant. In the US, Aladdin made USD 112.7 million over the 4-day Memorial Day weekend which was good enough for the fifth-highest opening in the holiday's history. At the worldwide box office, it has raked in USD 233.7 million already making its profits.
