After minting big bucks at the Indian box office, Ayushmann Khurrana starrer Andhadhun has smashed the box office records in China. Almost after a 15 day run at the box office, Andhadhun has emerged as the fourth highest grosser. The total collection of the movie so far has reached $34.20 million. In Indian currency, the figure is equivalent to Rs 237.42 crore. Directed by Sriram Raghavan, Andhadhun has now beat Hindi Medium, which raked in Rs 223 crore, to become the fourth highest grossing film.
The path-breaking movie has been getting love from across the world including unprecedented love by the audience in China.Titled 'Piano Player' in China, Andhadhun is now behind Dangal (2016), Secret Superstar (2017) and Bajrangi Bhaijaan (2015) in the Asian country. Film critic and business analyst Taran Adarsh, in a tweet posted on Thursday, noted that the film was witnessing “excellent trending on weekdays”. And he further added that the movie "Will comfortably cross $ 40 mn in Weekend 3."

Earlier, commenting on the film's success in China, lead star Ayushmann had said, "It’s overwhelming and heart-warming to see the love and acclaim that AndhaDhun has been getting in China. As an artist, it is incredible to see my film cross over and get such a fantastic reaction. I have always believed that films speak a universal language and it cuts across geographies and Sriram Raghavan’s vision, AndhaDhun, just proved it in a massive way in China.
