X Men Dark Phoenix star Sophie Turner: Have watched clips of Priyanka in Bollywood films; would love to do one

Sophie Turner, who will be seen playing Jean Grey in X-Men Dark Phoenix opens up on doing a Bollywood movie, if she thinks this is a befitting end to the series. Read on.

X-Men Dark Phoenix, the last film in this series, had its world premiere on Tuesday night. The movie which stars Sophie Turner in titular role as Jean Grey bids adieu to fans in a rather lukewarm response, if worldwide reviews are considered. However, is this really the end? No one knows. We met Sophie and Evan Peters (who plays the role of Quicksilver) for an interview in South Korea recently wherein they revealed if they feel this is a befitting end to the series.

While Evan maintained that he hopes this is not the end but even if it is, "I think it is an amazing end, if it is the end." On the other hand, Sophie added, "I think it is wonderful. It is a combination of all the past X-Men series. It is a wonderful climax. If this is really the end, then it is a perfect round off because it is the ultimate test for the X-Men but there is always other avenues to explore with this."

In the movie, we hear a reference being made to X Men being called 'X Women' given that it is the women who are actually saving the world. When asked Sophie on her thoughts for the same, she replied, "I think X-People, that is more fitting name. Let's make it inclusive. Equality for all. No X-Men or X-Women, X-People, or X- Mutants."

Finally, given that Sophie has a strong connection with India now, thanks to Priyanka Chopra, we asked Sophie in particular if she would like to do a Bollywood movie ever given that crossovers between Bollywood and Hollywood are working out pretty well. To this, Sophie smiled and exclaimed, "Totally. I would love to. I love kinda seeing the big spectacles Bollywood movies are, just the way they create these beautiful decades on sets, I would love to be a part of it and do a bit of singing and dancing." To this Evan quipped, "As long as I have to say Jai Ho in the end, I am in."

Sophie also revealed that though she hasn't seen too many of Bollywood movies, "I have only looked up clips of Priyanka," she confessed.

X- Men Dark Phoenix released on June 5 in India.
